Every fence and gate we install is backed by our workmanship warranty and manufacturer material warranties. Here's exactly what's covered — no fine print, no runaround.
At Elite Fence & Gate, we stand behind every fence we install. Our warranty covers our workmanship — how the fence was built, how the posts were set, how the gates were hung — as well as the manufacturer warranties on the materials we use. This page explains exactly what's covered, what isn't, and how to make a warranty claim if you ever need to.
What's Covered & For How Long
Workmanship Warranty
We warranty all labor and installation workmanship for 1 year from the installation completion date. This covers post setting, panel attachment, gate hanging and hardware, and any installation-related issues.
Aluminum Fence Materials
Aluminum fence panels and posts carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty against defects in materials — the panels won't rust, crack, or warp. The manufacturer warranty is passed to you at installation.
Vinyl Fence Materials
Vinyl fence panels and posts carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty against fading, cracking, and material defects. South Florida's UV exposure is factored into the warranty — vinyl holds its color and structure.
Automated Gate Operators
Gate operators carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 1–3 years depending on the brand and model installed. We use LiftMaster, Viking, and Elite operators — all with strong manufacturer support.
Wood Fence Materials
Pressure-treated wood carries a manufacturer warranty against rot and insect damage. Our workmanship warranty covers the installation. Wood requires periodic maintenance — staining every 3–5 years in South Florida's climate.
Chain Link Materials
Galvanized chain link carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty against rust and material defects under normal conditions. Class III galvanized products we use are rated for South Florida's coastal environment.

Warranty Claim Process
Making a warranty claim with Elite Fence & Gate is straightforward. We don't make you fill out forms or wait on hold. Here's how it works:

Photo Assessment
Send us a photo of the issue. We assess whether it's a workmanship issue, material defect, or something else.
Site Visit
If needed, we schedule a site visit — usually within 3–5 business days of your call.
Resolution
Covered issues are resolved at no charge — repair or replacement, depending on the situation.
Why Our Warranty Matters in South Florida
South Florida is one of the most demanding environments for fence installation in the United States. Salt air from the Atlantic and Intracoastal Waterway accelerates corrosion on inferior materials. UV intensity fades and degrades low-grade vinyl and powder coat finishes within a few years. Hurricane season puts every fence through annual stress testing.
The reason we can offer lifetime manufacturer warranties on aluminum and vinyl is simple — we only install materials rated for South Florida's climate. We don't cut corners on galvanization, powder coat thickness, or vinyl UV inhibitor packages to win a price war. Every material we specify is chosen for long-term performance in this specific environment.
When you see a competitor offering the same price with a "lifetime warranty" — ask them what materials they're using, what the galvanization class is, and who manufactures the panels. The warranty is only as good as the materials behind it.
